I have been doing a bit of summer hand sewing here & there. (when I'm at the park with the girls & relaxing at my mom's on the patio.) It's nice to have something small I can carry around & stitch without being stuck behind the sewing machine. This is what I started out with, stitching up hexie's in colors my partner for the RATZ swap loves.
All laid out in & ready to be stitched together. This month the swap item is needle books & I'm thinking this will be the cover. My partner loves vintage, so I'm hoping she loves this retro color scheme!
It was fun picking out special fabric's for these hexie's. they are 1" in size. Stay tuned for the finish!
