Traveling Stash Giveaway!!

Remember my post a few weeks back telling you about the traveling stash giveaway on suebee's World? Well, guess what? I won it!! So fun!
So here I am with my very first giveaway, a box of fabric to help your stash out!!!:)

And here's the beginning of what's in the box. Lots of lovely fabrics here!

Lot's & lots of notions! Pretty zippers, rick rack, buttons, & embroidery thread to name a few.

A bunch of patterns! Quilts, bags & clothes!

And digging even deeper into the box, more fabric!!! A little bit of something for everyone's tastes! 

Now here's what I added. A rainbow set of eight FQ's, in some of my favorite prints. Some Joel Dewberry, Lakehouse, Claire blocks, & Jennifer Paganelli! 

Who doesn't love a good rainbow? You could make something with all of them or split them up into your stash! Another shot of them, I just love it!:)

Also added a fun Lollipop by Sandy Gervais charm pack. Wouldn't this make the most darling baby quilt?!

All the goodies that I'm adding in. Oh, can't forget that 3 yards of vintage cotton rickrack I added as well.

Now here is what I took out. Some great red, white & blue FQ's & two OOP Tula Pink FQ's!!!

Also took these great charm squares of Momo's "It's a hoot"! Love!

a needlebook

Today between the camping packing & peach pie baking I managed to finish up my needle book for the RATZ swap! I love the final outcome & sure hope my secret partner does as well!

Pockets on the inside to slide in a scissors or extra project. I just need to find some felt to sew in the middle yet.

The front. I added a snap closure & tiny little personal touch, that has to remain hidden till my partner receives it!

The back side. Lots of fun & even a few "precious" fabrics used in this sweet little project.

It was a lot of fun sewing all these little hexie's, now I'll have to sew something for me with them as well! I'm thinking of perhaps a wallet?!

Hexie's!

I have been doing a bit of summer hand sewing here & there. (when I'm at the park with the girls & relaxing at my mom's on the patio.) It's nice to have something small I can carry around & stitch without being stuck behind the sewing machine. This is what I started out with, stitching up hexie's in colors my partner for the RATZ swap loves.

         All laid out in & ready to be stitched together. This month the swap item is needle books &                        I'm thinking this will be the cover. My partner loves vintage, so I'm hoping she loves this retro   color scheme! 

It was fun picking out special fabric's for these hexie's. they are 1" in size. Stay tuned for the finish!
